A Note On Special Diets: I personally don't follow any specific diets but try to seek out real foods on a regular basis (you can read more about my food philosophy here). With that said, I've decided to categorize my recipes into dairy-free, grain-free, vegan, etc. in order to make it easier for my readers who DO follow specific diets to find recipes that meet their needs.

However, I'm not a nutrition or special diets expert so if you're coming over from the primal, vegan, or low carb community wanting to police my recipes and shake your virtual finger at me because they're not perfect...well, you're in the wrong place! In many cases, I've included a recipe because it meets the general guidelines of a special dietary need or includes a suggestion for swapping out ingredients.

So...If you need a recipe to be 100% gluten-free you'll need to seek out gluten-free certified products. If you're counting macros for a low-carb diet, you'll need to look up the carbs in each ingredient (I don't provide nutritional info). If you want a recipe to be primal, seek out grass-fed dairy products to use (I often do myself but don't always list this specifically in the ingredients list). These are just a few examples! :)

  4. Great post! "A Note On Special Diets" truly resonated with me. As someone who has struggled with dietary restrictions, I understand the challenges and importance of finding the right diet for our individual needs.
I commend you for emphasizing that special diets should be approached with caution and thorough research. It's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian to ensure nutritional needs are met while avoiding potential deficiencies.
Your advice on the potential benefits of special diets, such as veganism, gluten-free, or paleo, was enlightening. It's true that these diets can have positive impacts on certain individuals, but it's essential to remember that what works for one person might not work for another.
The reminder to prioritize balance, variety, and sustainability in our diets is key. It's not just about following trends or quick fixes; it's about making long-term, healthy choices that support our well-being.
Overall, this post provided valuable insight and guidance for those navigating the overwhelming world of special diets. Keep up the great work!

  16. You will have to go through a series of steps in order to apply for US immigration from India. These steps include filling out paperwork, obtaining documentation, going to interviews, and maybe waiting for the approval of your visa. Investigate the particular visa type that best fits your circumstances first, then adhere to the guidelines supplied by US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
