DIY Lava Rock Essential Oil Diffuser Bracelet

Learn how to make an easy essential oil diffuser bracelet using inexpensive non-toxic materials like citrine stone, porous lava rock, and hemp cord. Decorate the bracelet with your favorite accent beads (I prefer wood) to make it look unique while you enjoy the aromatherapy benefits. This makes a great DIY gift for both gals and guys and is a simple enough craft project for kids to help out.

Ever since I shared a tutorial for how to make clay essential oil diffuser necklaces, I've been jonesing to try my hand at diffuser bracelets. Mostly because I prefer rings & bracelets over necklaces and I love the look of lava beads, which are popular for essential oil bracelets.

I'm also semi-obsessed with citrine stones right now, so I wanted to create a DIY diffuser bracelet with that as the centerpiece. Why? Citrine is a yellow and white stone that is good for drawing abundance, success, and positive energy. 

I've been wearing a wire-wrapped citrine necklace along with a turquoise stone ring on almost a daily basis for the past few years. This combo has a calming, grounding + good vibes effect! Plus, they're both gorgeous.

Two years ago, I wrote a post called 30+ Ways to Relax When You're Feeling Stressed or Anxious. This was a month after experiencing genuine anxiety for the first time in my life. For me, those feelings stemmed from fear and worry over health issues and manifested as a rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, and a non-existent appetite.

It was both a wake-up call and a revelation to me. Time to take better care of myself emotionally (no more stuffing away all my feelings) and physically (more than just prioritizing real food).
